Chapter 1873 - Petals Of Death I

I closed the book as I read this detailed information on Silver Razor Rose, and now I wonder whether I should try for this rose or not; it is more dangerous than I had thought.

I will not have hesitated if this rose is 20% or 30% spatial elemental, but this rose is a whopping 50% spatial elemental, which made it extremely dangerous.

The book had outlined those dangers very clearly, and they are making me have second thoughts.

I had thought for a while before decided to go for it; while it will be a very risky endeavor, it will also be very much worth it.

Spatial type resources are extremely rare that bȧrėly anyone is willing to give them up; it is especially for the herbal type resources; they are the rarest.

I will not be able to get them from any organization or Supreme, I will have to scour many dangerous runes for it, and that would be very time-consuming, and I would have to be lucky to get it.

This rose in front of me will fulfill all the requirements I have about the spatial herbal treasure.

With it, I will not have to search for any more of them; it is the reason why I decided to take this risk.

Now that I decided it risk it, I started to make the preparation.

Going for this rose without preparations is a suicide; I will have to prepare as much as possible.

The first thing I did was activate all my defensive formations in the armor and summon a defensive field around the armor with thick rule-bending power.

I also summoned my defensive method around my top of that; I am going to need all the defense; I have to harvest that rose.

After I finished with my defense, twelve vines came out of my back.

Each wine is thick as my pinky finger, and all of them glowing with thick rule-bending power.

Especially their ends, where they have pink spherical formation.

This is the only thing that will be able to hold those petals, everything else would be useless in containing them.

With all the preparation being made, I took a deep breath and slowly and carefully moved toward the rose.

With such a small distance, I could instantly appear beside the rose, but that is not wise; it is very dangerous to do that.

The Silver Razor Rose had an invisible domain of five meters around it; the moment I entered the domain, the rose would react.

If I am faster, the rose will react faster, and seeing its spatial abilities, I do not want to be faster.

I moved closer and closer to the rose, and soon, I was just a step away from reaching its field.

I could feel the invisible field in front of me, and it is giving me a very dangerous feeling, that for a moment, I thought of going back.

Seeing the thoughts of giving up entering my heart, I immediately took a step inside the invisible field; as I did, I immediately felt the changes; the first and foremost is that I am trapped, which is not surprising.

The invisible field is metallic and spatial in nature and is quite strong; it would take me minutes to break it, and I don\'t second much fewer minutes as the rose had already reacted.

The silver petals of the rose have begun to separate themselves from the rose.

A second later, there is only a stem attached to the tree as all the twelve silvery petals coming at me.

These petals look like they are riding the gentle wind as they came at me, but their speed is much more than that.

It those petals fraction of a second to cover me, and now they are coming at me.

These petals seemed too gentle and delicate, and they are, but they are also extremely sharp that these petals would not have a problem in cutting through my defenses, and the worse thing is, I could not use my sword.

These petals are extremely delicate; they are delicate as petals of the regular rose; any hard force against them and they would be destroyed.

My vines moved toward the petals to capture them, but their speed is so great that my vines are unable to capture them, and they came to me.

I avoided seven petals, but even with the power of all my boosters, I was not able to avoid five petals that tore through.

Tearing would be a wrong word to say for what it did to me; tearing means they have felt some resistance from me which they did not.

These petals are like thousand-kilogram blades, and I am soft buŧŧer; there is bȧrėly any resistance against them.

I was able to avoid most petals with minimum injuries, except for one, one had seeped through my stomach and came out from the other side.

It was centimeters away from cutting through my spine; it would have been very bad if something like that would have happened.

These petals are the first thing I had faced against which I am not able to offer the slightest resistance.

If not for having a way to capture these petals, I would not have taken such a dangerous risk.

Slice Slice Slice

The petals came at me again, and this time, I am more prepared, but still, six of them were able to cut through me.

one was able to cut through a big piece of bone in hand, I had to place a couple of formations on the wound to seal it temporarily as healing them in my current condition is impossible.

The cuts by these petals leave behind very powerful metallic and spatial energy, which is very hard to heal from.

So, I am sealing the wounds with formations, and I will heal them when I am finished harvesting the rose.
