Solaiemes launches ConverG, the IMS Application Server to manage combinational services (Video Sharing). 12/12/06.

Madrid. Solaiemes launchs ConverG, the IMS AS to manage combinational services and allow SW developers and IT firms to create a wide range of new mobile solutions based on multimedia (video sharing). During the transition until mobile carriers launch commercial IMS videosharing services, ConverG is acting with additional feature of SipServer to make possible advanced solutions.

The use of combinational services (voice over CS and data/video over PS) deliver a higher quality video than circuit switch videocall and reduce the investment in infrastructure.

Solaiemes will showcase soon their first mobile solutions based on ConverG but is offering ConverG to third party developers to build their own mobile solutions.
