The founding team members have a proven background with over a decade of professional development in many industries. Our combined background and knowledge of delivering innovation in mobility allows for development and offering of compelling new products and services.

Juan Mateu. Juan developed his career with several companies  including Colortex (textiles industry), ICEX (public Spanish entity for foreign trade, assigned to SouthAmerica offices 1 year), DMR (IT Consultancy) and Motorola Networks (4 years) involved in GPRS & UMTS  homologation and acceptance procedures in several European countries including UK, Germany, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Portugal and 1 year in China. Last role before founding Solaiemes  at Motorola Mobile Devices business (2 years)  leading mobility solutions area in Spain.

Juan holds an MSc degrees in Telecom Engineering from Polytechnics University of Valencia (Spain) and an MSc in Economics from UNED (Spain).

 

CTO

 

Javier López. Javier has a long experience in the telecommunication market, working for major players in sector like Lucent Technologies or Motorola. Javier had been involved in  telecom infrastructure pre-sales, deployment and acceptance projects in several UE contries, US and Korea.

Javier holds an MSc in Telecom Engineering at Polytechnics University of Madrid (Spain).

Saúl Labajo. Saúl has significant experience in IT technologies with a focus in SOA and integration activities. Much of his career has been with GFI Informática where he has worked for some of the major corporations in Spain including Telefonica, Vodafone, Caja Madrid and public administrations. Saúl managed the J2EE and integration consulting department at GFI. Previously he had been involved with GTI, a University research group where he participated in several European research projects.

Saúl holds an MSc in Telecom Engineering from ETSIT, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

Jose M. "Chema" Recio. Jose M. has been at the forefront of the mobile communications revolution with a career that spans from product management and business development roles to technical positions in multinational companies. He has served at Motorola as lead architect in EMEA for end-to-end IMS solutions, solution architect for PushToTalk focused on Latin America markets, and innovative architectures for legacy infrastructure services, convergence solutions and multi-access fixed and mobile carriers.

Mr. Recio holds an MSc in Telecom Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and an MSc (Distinction) in Information Security from Royal Holloway College, University of London. Mr. Recio is an associate lecturer in the Telecom Engineering faculty, Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Madrid.

VP IMS Based Products

 

Luis Valencia. Luis has experience in software development and testing in a wide range of telecom technologies including GSM, GPRS, UMTS and IMS. Luis started his career in IT with Bondrap (textile manufacturing). He moved into the Alcatel Switching Division where he held several development positions at their Madrid and Antwerp (Belgium) development centers. In 1999 Luis joined Motorola Networks holding numerous positions in GSM/GPRS product and network simulation tools development, and UMTS product development/testing where he was relocated to Chicago (US), Cork (Ireland) and Swindon (UK) development centers. Since 2005 Luis worked in IMS product development.

Mr. Valencia holds an MSc degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnics University of Valencia (Spain).

Board Director

 

Domingo Eusebio Almaraz. Domingo has a long experience in banking with managing roles at: Banco Popular, Deustche Bank, Banesto and Caja Navarra, being specialist in the appliance of technology to banking business and new channels. Currently Domingo is Organization and Technology Director at Caja Navarra and member of their Executive Comitee.

Domingo holds an MSc in Physics from Salamanca University.

Luís López. Luis López Fernández obtained his PhD in Computer Science at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in 2003. He has a Telecommunications Engineering degree by the ETSIT-UPM , obtained in 1999, and a Telecommunications Engieering degree by the ENST - Télécom Paris , also in 1999. Before starting his academic career, he worked in several IT companies including Texas Intruments Inc (working as Hardware Engineer) and Visual Tools S.A (working as Development Engineer). He is currenly Associate Professor at the GSYC deparment beloging to Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. His current research interests are concentrated on Next Generation Networks and mobile service development.
