AVISG

AVISG (Agnostic Visual Info Server Gateway) the platform to deliver a common user experience with enhanced usability to internet and mobile "channels". To-date attempts at replicating desktop web browsing using WAP on the mobile device have proven to be overall unsuccessful since the mobile device cannot replicate the desktop internet browser experience. Small display areas, small keyboard and network latency issues further plague the handheld web browsing end-user experience. The AVISG platform is intended to solve the mobile browsing issue.

 

The Solaiemes AVISG platform uses the SVG philosophy to deliver dynamic, personalized and real time information at both mobile and desktop pc sites, minimizing the need for content alteration to mobile devices. Additionally, the relational marketing engine allows for adding "animated advertising" matching real time segmented criteria. Target potential use-cases and potential customers are:

  • Advanced CRM/B2C: banks, carriers, utilities, insurance companies.
  • Corporate information: enhanced mobile intranets.
  • City Information systems. (Tourism info associated to name_city.mobi).

AVISG currently supports adaptative content to mobile capabilities (WML, XHTML, SVG) to deliver best in class user experience. AVISG uses WURLF database to identify handset capabilities.

UPDATE: AVISG is the base of the simples way of implementing Multimodality using common mid-tier 3G devices without needed to install fat/thin client. Combining voice call and browser. AVISG could be easily interoperated with whatever IVR platform with 2 alternatives, using vxml/ccxml standars, or using a communication bus API provided by Solaiemes. With this innovative approach al IVR infrastructure of a big company is reused to multimedia contact center (or share between normal phone CRM and multimedia CRM).
